Present
Since 2004 I am professionally working as an independent designer; graphic: using diverse media; audiovisual: I made a view films.

Professional collaborations
W/ Meinhard Spoor I designed several printed matters like the Krakatau and Project Perform promotional matters.
Strange Boutique: w/ Femke Dekker.
Strange Boutique is the joining of forces between graphic designer Nicole Martens and cultural maverick Femke Dekker (My Little Underground).
Used as a label for their various collaborative projects - whether it be fashion, art or music - Strange Boutique is a playground for two opinionated kindred spirits.

Before
Before magical 2002 I had a career in Human Resource, Accounting and Web designer.

Most important
Since 1995 I am a more than proud mother of a special little but grand lady.

FNNNN, a five female dj-collective. Besides playing my finest dancing tunes, FNNNN is an experimental platform for my graphics. I created the logo and visual identity, which shows in (most) of our circulars, visuals and Myspace.
Since 2006

RUNDFUNK, an eight female dj & design collective.
Besides playing a wide variety of the best danceable music, we designed the venue, visuals and clothes.
2004-2005

itssellinghotcakes,
Together w/ Natasa Heydra, is an artistic platform to express our female, girly and ungirly, dramatic, bold, we just want to have fun – emotions in a playful way. It results in dj-sets, websites, artworks and clothing concepts. It happens on occasion.

VSCD Prosceniumprijs 2004
Dutch theatre price granted yearly by the Vereniging van Schouwburg- en Concertgebouwdirecties (VSCD)
Proust part 1 t/m 3, has won the VSCD Prosceniumprijs 2004.
From the jury jury report: “De jury overhandigt aan allen die –voor en achter de schermen– hebben meegewerkt aan ‘Op zoek naar de verloren tijd’, Proust deel 1 t/m 3, van harte de VSCD Prosceniumprijs 2004.”

Drempelprijs 2005 - Nomination.
Price for the best graduation work by the Willem de Kooning Academie Rotterdam, granted by an independent jury.
